Founding member of Glasslyn Vets. Graduated from UCD in 1968. Worked in Macroom for 4 years before joining Glasslyn in 1973. Special interest in horses. Outside of work enjoys Tipperary hurling and golf.
Kevin O Sullivan (Director)MVB MRCVS
Graduated in 1998 form UCD. Worked in Tipperary for 1 yr before joining Glasslyn in 2000. Interested in small and large animal practice. Post graduate diploma in Health & Production, Post graduate certificate in Dairy herd health and Director of XL Vets. Outside of work interests include GAA and golf.
David Mc Laughlin (Director) MVB MRCVS
David graduated from UCD with a degree in Veterinary Medicine in 1990. David joined Glasslyn as a partner in 1990. He has an interest in Dairy cattle. In his spare time, he enjoys a game of golf.
John Healy (Director)MVB MRCVS
Graduated in 2000 from UCD degree in Veterinary Medicine. Worked in UK for 1 yr. Worked for 4yrs in Kilkenny. Interested in all aspects of veterinary medicine especially with Johnes disease. Outside of work, time is taken up with the kids GAA teams and their Bermese mountain dog “Molly”.
John Nyhan (Director)MVB MRCVS
John graduated from UCD with a degree in Veterinary Medicine in 2000. After graduation John worked in New Zealand for a year. Returned back to Ireland and worked in Wexford for 3 yrs. He Joined Glasslyn vets as a partner in 2004. He has a special interest in small animal surgery. In his spare time, he enjoys running, cycling and swimming. He has 2 rabbits “Roxy & Milo” and 2 dogs “ Penny& Lola” gold retreivers.
John OsborneMVB MRCVS
Graduated from UCD in 2002. Worked in Northern Ireland for 3 yrs. Worked in Hyde Equine hospital for 9 yrs. Joined Glasslyn in 2017. Special interest in cattle & horses. Outside of work enjoys cycling, running and GAA.
Declan HoranDVM MRCVS
Declan grew up on a Dairy farm in Cashel. He Graduated from Warsaw University in 2015 and is currently completing a certificate in small animal surgery in the UK.
Declan worked in Northern Ireland for 3 years and joined the Glasslyn team in 2017. He is interested in all areas of veterinary medicine especially surgery.
Outside of work he’s interests are sports and fitness.
Emma HanlyMVB
Emma graduated from UCD in 2016. She worked in Carlow for 2 years in mixed practice before joining Glasslyn in 2018.
She grew up on a suckler and sheep farm in Tipperary. She is interested in all aspects of bovine health.
Outside of work she is interested in badminton and going to the gym.

Katie HarteVeterinary Nurse RVN
Katie graduated from Athlone Institute of Technology with a BSc in Veterinary Nursing in 2012 and joined the glasslyn team shortly after.
Katie has a particular interest in Surgical nursing and wildlife rehabilitation.
Outside of work she enjoys running, art, beekeeping and hiking with her five dogs.
Lisa MoloneyVeterinary Nurse RVN
Lisa graduated from St Johns Central college in 2015 as a registered Veterinary nurse and in 2018 she joined the full time nursing team here at Glasslyn.
Lisa loves all aspects of veterinary nursing but has a particular interest in Large animal nursing.
In her free time lisa enjoys playing Camogie, farming and walking her two dogs George and Ozzy.
Padraig BrennanLarge Animal Operations Manager
Padraig oversees the daily running of the office and keeps the vets in line.
In his spare time he farms and plays hurling for Kilbrittain.
